Service

Pear is a task and incident-tracking application provided by Collin Rudel. By using Pear you agree to use the service in good faith and only as intended for managing your team's projects, tasks, and operational incidents.

Account access

Access to Pear is granted by invitation from an administrator of your organization. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for any activity under your account. Notify your administrator immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.

SMS notifications

By entering your mobile phone number and opting in to text notifications in your Pear Communication Preferences, you expressly consent to receive SMS messages from Pear about system incidents, alerts, and operational events relevant to the projects you have subscribed to.

• Message frequency: varies. Messages are sent only when an incident matching your preferences is logged in your organization, which may be rare or frequent depending on operational activity.
• Message and data rates: may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Pear does not charge for SMS, but your carrier might.
• Opt-out: reply STOP at any time to any Pear message to unsubscribe from SMS notifications. You may also disable SMS at any time by signing in and updating your Communication Preferences.
• Help: reply HELP to any Pear message for support information.
• SMS notifications are operational only — Pear will never send promotional or marketing text messages.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Pear, including but not limited to: attempting to access another user's data, bypassing access controls, sending spam, or using the service for any unlawful purpose.

No warranties

Pear is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that notifications will be delivered within any specific timeframe.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pear is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to active users.
